About Evan

Evan brings over a decade of experience in the legal industry and serves as a lawyer within the Integrated IP Law and Trade Marks team.

He has previously held positions as a partner in a boutique law firm and as general counsel for an investment fund company focused on acquiring and disposing of businesses and related intangible assets.

He has advised clients ranging from start-ups to ASX listed companies,  international organisations and even a class action of over 500 individuals.

This perspective has equipped Evan with unique insights into client needs and expectations, often anticipating their requirements before they become apparent. His practice extends beyond trade mark law and litigation, to encompass general commercial advice related to IP matters.

Evan develops and delivers outcomes that help clients achieve their specific needs, using litigation as a strategic tool to stay ahead of evolving laws and trends that could impact his clients. He has extensive commercial litigation experience, having appeared in every WA jurisdiction as well as the Federal Court of Australia and AAT.

Outside of the office Evan enjoys gouging heinous divots out of what are otherwise pristine golf fairways and informing people that he does not, in fact, play basketball.
