David Clark is a registered Australian and NZ Patent Attorney with over 30 years’ experience working in private practice Intellectual Property. Having worked as an engineer and inventor, he brings a unique mix of practical experience and technical expertise to patents, registered designs, and trade marks.

David complements his patent expertise with a strong business acumen reflected in the success of Clark IP which he established in 2016. Having previously managed patent practices at a major first tier law firm and a significant IP firm, he is able to provide a product which is not only technically accurate but also commercially meaningful and relevant. This is achieved by listening to the client as the technology expert and working collaboratively to translate this information into quality work.
