Taking place during the 22nd to 24th of September 2024, Integrated IP (IIP) is excited to attend the 2024 IPO Annual Meeting in Chicago. The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) Meeting gathers IP leaders from around the globe to discuss strategies, trends, and best practices in IP.

Tony Mizzi, Matthew Yeates, and Sean Kelley will represent IIP at the event.

With over 30 years in the industry, Tony specialises in the patenting of mechanical, electrical, mining, oil and gas, renewables and general engineering-related inventions in Australia and abroad. In particular, Tony has noteworthy skills in drilling equipment, fluid motors, agricultural machines, heavy haul rail and road transport, oil and gas equipment and infrastructure.

Matthew specialises in intangible asset monetisation and has been recognised as a top IP strategist by IAM 300 from 2021 to 2024. Matthew has successfully commercialised IP on a global scale since the mid-2000s, served as a director with leading patent groups in Australia and recently launched an IP Insurance product revolutionising protection strategies for clients. With a diverse background in IP, finance, and management consulting, Matthew provides a unique and comprehensive approach to risk assessment and the management of intangible assets.

Sean specialises in protecting mechatronics and software inventions, particularly in the manufacturing, medical device, oil and gas and mining industries. He has previously worked at some of Australia’s largest IP firms, within the IP team of New Zealand’s largest manufacturer and in engineering roles in Perth’s resource sector. He draws on this multi-sector experience to provide pragmatic IP advice and protect his client’s inventions.
