We welcome Claire Ramsay as Principal to spearhead our newly established Integrated IP Law and Trade Marks divisions. This step reinforces Integrated IP’s commitment to broadening its capabilities as a premier IP service provider across Australia and New Zealand.

Claire Ramsay, with her expertise in science and law, is a distinguished intellectual property (IP) lawyer. Her career includes positions with Rio Tinto’s IP team, top-tier national IP firms, and serving as an Associate to Justice Susan Crennan in Australia’s Federal and High Courts. Her IP expertise was acknowledged in Doyle’s Guide 2022, where she was listed as a ‘Leading Intellectual Property & TMT Lawyers (Recommended)’ in Western Australia (WA).

Claire has represented diverse and market-leading clients across multiple sectors, in both contentious and transactional IP matters. She is experienced in conduct of patent and trade mark oppositions and litigation, as well as disputes involving copyright, designs, confidential information and consumer law issues.

Beyond litigation, Claire offers sharp commercial insights, guiding clients through IP-centric negotiations and drafting IP-related contracts including non-disclosure agreements, assignments and licences. Additionally, she boasts expertise in anti-counterfeiting and manages a sizable trade mark practice.
